About this Fabric
Jaipuri Cotton is made using centuries-old hand block printing practiced in Bagru and Sanganeri near Jaipur. Artisans use hand-carved wooden blocks dipped in natural or azo-free dyes to print detailed patterns on lightweight cotton. Minor print variations between pieces are a mark of authentic handcraft — not defects. The fabric is breathable, soft, and widely preferred for ethnic wear, bedding, and export orders.
