About this Fabric
Kashid Print is inspired by the traditional Kashida embroidery of Jammu & Kashmir, which features elaborate chain-stitch floral and paisley motifs in vibrant colours. The printed version reproduces these intricate embroidery-like patterns using fine screen or block printing on lightweight cotton, mul, or rayon bases. The prints closely mimic the densely filled, colourful look of Kashmiri embroidery at a fraction of the cost and weight. It is a popular fabric for festive and ethnic wear, especially for the mid-to-premium segment of the domestic market.

Care Instructions
Hand wash or gentle machine wash in cold water (max 30°C). Use mild detergent. Do not bleach. Dry in shade. Iron at medium heat on reverse side. Wash separately for the first time.
