About this Fabric
Mulmul (also called Muslin in export markets) is one of the lightest cotton fabrics available, woven with fine twisted yarns in a plain open weave at 50–80 GSM. It is exceptionally soft, translucent, and breathable, making it the most comfortable fabric for hot and humid Indian summers. Mulmul is available in greige (unprocessed), bleached white, solid dyed, and printed variants. The fabric is widely used for infant and baby garments due to its gentleness on skin. In home textiles, it is used for lightweight curtains and swaddle blankets. Mulmul gains more softness with every wash.

Care Instructions
Machine wash at 30°C or hand wash. Use gentle detergent. Do not bleach. Dry in shade — the fabric is very lightweight and dries fast. Iron at low-medium heat. Mulmul becomes softer after every wash.
